Training Information

Welcome to the 2021 / 22 Season.

KLAC practice twice a week; Tuesday and Thursday from 5.30pm – 6.30pm at Wellard Oval.

Each night we run three 20 minute rotational sessions. The session includes discipline specific stretches, some skill drills and practical application.

These sessions will be done in their age groups, if groups are large then they will get split into boys and girls, similar to how they compete on the weekend.

Our Coaching Team is made up of a variety of people. Most are volunteers who have Level 1 or 2 Athletics Coaching certs, some are ex Athletes and some are just really keen helpful parents getting stuck in.

This year we have been lucky enough to secure the assistance of Short Track Specialist – Tim Blake. He will be running a High Performance specialist program on a Monday night for those Athletes who want to excel in short track and hurdles, as well as coaching on Thursday night with the club.
